Admissions Process

We are currently open for admissions for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years. Please follow the following guide to proceed with the application. We also encourage you to personally visit our school and meet our Admissions Team. 
Before proceeding with the application, take a look at our age guideline.

Step 1: Complete Application Form

Complete our application form and submit all the necessary documents listed below: 

  1. Copy of applicant’s birth certificate
  2. Copy of applicant’s HKID card and passport
  3. Two sized passports pictures of applicant (40 mm x 50 mm)
  4. One copy of report cards or official transcripts of the last two completed grades
  5. Copy of parents’ HKID card or passport
  6. Proof of address 
  7. Proof of payment of Application Fee1

1As part of the application process a non-refundable application fee of HKD 1,500 per child is required. The fee can be paid using one of the following methods:

  1. Paypal
  2. By cheque: payable to “MOUNT KELLY SCHOOL (HONG KONG) LIMITED”
  3. By bank transfer: send a receipt/payment record to Mount Kelly School (Hong Kong) Limited
    Hang Seng Bank Limited (A/C No: 024-395-493489-883) SWIFT CODE: HASEHKHH (Bank transfers will incur an additional HKD 15 bank fee – total transfer payment $1,515)

The application form requires approximately 30 minutes to complete and we recommend the use of laptops or desktop computers to fill the form. 

printable application form is also available. Please submit a copy of the form and the supporting documents by email to admissions@mountkelly.edu.hk or by post to our Admissions Office: Unit 1, Upper G/F, Austin Tower, 152 Austin Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Step 2: Individual Assessment

Our Admissions Team will contact all applicants after reviewing the application form and ensuring all needed documents have been presented. This process usually takes 48 hours. Families will then be invited to the school where children will receive a personalised assessment. 

Step 3: Notification of Assessment Result

Results of the assessment are usually available within one week after the assessment. Offer of place will then be subject to the admissions priority of the applicant.
